Hello again! This is Sherie & Cheryl from Merrymint Designs. Back in June, we guest posted about all of the fantastic vendors in the Charleston Wedding Studio. Well, now it’s high time for us to brag about all the talent (11 vendors in total!) in the Savannah Studio! So, without further ado…
Heidi and Natalie own & run A to Zinnias – a full service & event florist. The pair met at Savannah College of Art and Design and have been working together ever since. The ladies at A to Zinnias have a true passion for all things floral, but also an honest dedication to helping their clients find exactly what they need to make any occasion special. They offer a custom floral design experience to each of their brides with fresh seasonal blooms that fit both the event and the bride’s own ideas for their big day.
Byrd Cookie Company has been a Savannah tradition since 1924, when Ben T. Byrd, Sr. began making cookies by hand, packing them in wooden boxes and delivering them in a Model-T Ford to Savannah stores. Nowadays, they even offer up their famous cookies in personalized tins, complete with the bride & groom’s engagement photo and their own wording to give as gifts to wedding guests… the perfect favor!
Chef Cynthia Creighton-Jones & her team at Cape Creations Catering have made it their mission to create special events centered around remarkably good food. They aim to give their customers the personal attention and creativity one expects when hosting an intimate dinner party, even when called upon for more complex catering events. They personally oversee every little detail of the menu to help make the wedding day perfect!
First City Events provides a full range of entertainment, decor and event planning services for the bride & groom. From the first detail to the last, they have their clients covered with everything from MCs & DJs, custom lighting & linens and themed decor to ‘day of’ & comprehensive event planning. Their ‘Serenity’ planning package pairs brides with a talented planner from day one to suggest vendors, attend meetings and manage the budget to help make the wedding day a completely stress-free event!
Jeff and Tina Harris own Lowcountry Lovebirds, a white dove release company serving the entire Lowcountry. A White Dove Release is a unique and breathtaking experience that will lift the spirits and be remembered by everyone in attendance. A Dove Release can easily replace balloons, bubble-blowing and seed-throwing, making them a very green, environmentally-friendly way to celebrate every couple’s special day!
Teresa Earnest, the head photographer at Memories n’ More photography, obviously needs no introduction! She is a dear friend, an incredibly talented photographer, and the heart and soul of the Wedding Studios =) She is joined by Senior Associate, Hunter Mcrae, who has an extensive background in photojournalism and is an award winning photographer featured in national publications. Hunter brings with her a fresh, artful approach to wedding photography. LeeAnne Ewaldsen, one of Teresa’s very first Savannah Brides, has also recently joined Memories n’ More as an associate photographer & has a very unique and wonderful perspective on shooting weddings.
Merrymint Designs is our custom wedding invitation & stationery business. We offer packages to our brides featuring everything from fully customized wedding suites to elegant bridal shower invitations, water bottle labels, gift tags and everything in between. Designing is a true passion for us & we’re always willing to ‘think out of the box’ to find the perfect fit for our brides!
Jenny is the talent behind the Red Headed Bride, the place to go for wedding day hair & makeup services in Savannah. Two Cakes was started in 2004 in Atlanta, and relocated to the Savannah area in 2006. They specialize in celebration cakes including wedding cakes, grooms cakes and birthday cakes. Every one of their cakes is custom made & they happily accept special requests and ideas from the bride and groom (including pictures) to ensure they get exactly what they envisioned!
